Installation Information
The original Model 290 was made with a full frame and did not include a heat shield. Installing this shield takes some work because it must fit down inside the frame. Once installed, it will cover the lighting holes in the bottom of the frame.
On 290A and 295 lanterns with riveted-in springs, the frame bottom must also be replaced to accommodate the updated spring configuration.
