Genuine Coleman replacement generator for Coleman 226A700 and 226-700 lanterns. This newly manufactured generator includes:

• Gas tip

Important Information for Coleman 222 Lanterns

Coleman discontinued the original 222 generator and now recommends this generator as its replacement. It can work well in a Coleman 222, but it is not a direct replacement without changes to the heat shield.

This generator is wider than the original 222 generator and will interfere with the existing heat shield. To use it on a 222 lantern, you will need to do one of the following:

• Fabricate or modify a heat shield to provide enough clearance

• Install the heat shield arrangement used on a Coleman 226 or 229 lantern

The replacement heat shield, Coleman part number 5414-4605, has been discontinued and is not included or available to order from Coleman.

If you are installing this generator on a 222, plan on addressing the heat shield situation.
