Using This Generator on a Coleman 222
Coleman discontinued the original 222 generator and recommended the 226 generator as its replacement. This generator can work well on 222 lanterns, but it is wider than the original and interferes with the 222 heat shield.
Using it on a 222 requires one of the following:

Fabricating or modifying the heat shield for proper clearance

Installing the heat-shield setup from a 226 or 229 lantern
The replacement heat shield is no longer available from Coleman. Its original part number was 5414-4605.
