Unique Coleman 288-A2 double-mantle adjustable lantern, date stamped 7/93.
This lantern seems in excellent overall shape. A previous owner painted the fount and customized it to their liking. It also looks like the burner frame was painted silver. It has a custom ball nut and a black fuel cap. The bale handle has a protector - the eccentric block is metal.
It pumps up and holds pressure. Turning the control knob produces clear airflow through the generator, so the valve and generator appear to be working as they should. We did not light this lantern.
All parts appear present and functional based on the pressure and airflow tests.
